Adam Smith's the Wealth of Nations compare to Karl Marx's Communists Manifesto?

The Wealth Adam Smith's describes lead to the reform that Karl Marx's advocated. Simply put, those wanting power from those who have it.

Both observations are about how thing were.

Karl Marx and Adam Smith were both geniuses. That said, they both made mistakes.

Smith dismissed benevolence and promoted how good self interest was. He needed to say that a certain degree of ethics needs to be exercised even in capitalism and that greed was not always good. There is too much poverty even in the US created by the greed of certain companies and individuals.

Marx missed the boat by making too many assumptions in regards for capitalism. He said that it would eventually destroy itself. That the cost of labor would go up and the cost of products will go down leading to the creation of machines, a loss in jobs and a drop in prices...a cycle that would eventually run a society into the ground. His assumption was that everything was only paid for its exact value, which is not the case at all.

If Marx's ideas were a failure, smith's were ten times worse. They only worked for one country, and for only the select powerful in that country also.

There is a philosophy that is evil, and it is called conformity. It is about grinding all thoughts into a hault, then locking them down and creating hostile laws to reject all positive beliefs.

Whenever philosophy holds nothing as its ideal, it gives nothing as its worth.
