Sorry if many others have asked. Didn't know as I don't spend that much time here. I just asked a simple question and didn't expect to get harrassment.

Where you find God so too will you find the prince of lies trying to stir things up. They do not believe in God, but Satan believes in them. They do his work and don't even know it

2 thumbs down huh? The truth will set you free.

Because atheists can still give answers. Most of the questions raised in here are not of a solely theological nature. I could also ask why are religious people in other sections where common sense is required?
I'm betting many Christians who are non believers of Islam wouldn't hesitate to answer a Muslims questions, so why should i not try and enlighten some religious people too?
Mythology and religion should be the one section anyhow, the only difference between mythology and religion is that all the people who believed one set of fairy tales are dead. Give it time and the story of Christ will be viewed much the same as Hercules, a good story, but all made up.

This is BY FAR ... THE MOST ASKED QUESTION in R&S.. do you people EVER check to see if a question has ALREADY been asked????
Why do you care if they are here? Why isn't Christianity in Mythology and Folklore? Why isn't Islam? Why isn't Paganism, Buddhism, et al?
This isn't the Religion CLUB, it's a place to find answers. Atheists have just as much right to be here as anyone else, and they contribute more to this section than all other faiths combined.

This is a public forum on which anyone can post a question or an answer. This is not a board for the religious only. People have opinions and knowledge about religion whether they themselves participate. Most atheists were brought up in a religious home. You didn't even bother to notice that this question has been asked 2500 times before you asked it. There are plenty of people who do not play foorball, but they still watch the game.

Because atheists practice that religion. It is a religion which is ironic cause they say they have no religion. Anything you believe in can be considered a religion. For instance there is a religion where a giant spaghetti monster created the world(which I think is crazy). If I decided that to say that we were all gods and we had supernatural powers, well as crazy as it sounds that would be my religion. Different religions are basically being thought up almost every day.

Believers in god do not have a lock on the subject of spirituality. Nor do they have a lock on the subject of morality. Not to mention the fact that mythology and folklore are pretty much involved with god.

Believer to non-believer; You remind me of a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat.
Non-believer to believer; Well - you remind me of a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn't there.

Atheism is the rejection of religion. That means it is ABOUT religion. So this is the place to talk about it. And this question gets asked like 50 times a day. Are you guys really that insecure that you can't take criticism?

Just so you know this question gets asked about 76 times per day. Spirituality can apply to anyone, although you may not understand it is possible to be spiritual without being religious.

Why is your question here ? Atheists do not believe in Mythology and more than members of any religion.

Does it bother you that they are here?

What about all of us non-Christians? Should we wander over to Mythology and Folklore - because that's what Christians believe our faiths really are.

Maybe they think Christians are decieved and would like to help them. Or they just enjoy picking on Christians who feel threatened.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because we like getting asked this question 50 times a day.

See, unlike Christians who don't like to question what they're taught, Atheists want to know everything about everything. THAT is why we're here.

If not for the Atheists, this would be filled only with Christians because the Christians run everyone else off fast.
