For some reason I have started letting everything get to me. I have become very stressed out. I want to know what vitamin I can take to help ease my stress and make me relaxed but not sleepy. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.

Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

I'm not sure there is a vitamin or supplement for stress. the best way to get rid of your stress is to solve the underlying problem which causes that stress in the first place. Take a walk or do some aerobic exercises can help. May be get help from a professional!!Take a deep breath!!!

I suggest you try Neurobion manufactured by Merck.

First, you should consult your pharmacist and ask the following questions:

1. What conditions does Neurobion treat?
2. Any side effects after prolonged use?

More information is available from the following website:

http://fdb.rxlist.com/drugs/drug-58428-neurobion+oral.aspx?drugid=58428&drugname=neurobion+

"The following side effects are associated with Neurobion Oral:

Infrequent side effects:
Itching Less Severe
Diarrhea Less Severe”

Neurobeon is also available in ampoules for which you can visit the following website:

http://www.merck.com.pk/line_bus/vit&minerals/Neurobionamp_brief.htm

An extract from this page is also reproduced below:

"Neurobion is a combination of Neurotropic vitamins B1, B6, & B12 these vitamins in their role as co-enzymes are indispensable factors in the metabolism of the nervous system. Neurobion normalizes the nerve cell metabolism. Neurobion supports the regeneration of nerve fibers and mylic sheath by activation of the metabolism and the natural repair mechanism.

Neurobion is indicated in mono and polyneuropathics of any origin such as diabetic, alcoholic or toxic neuropathies. neuritis or Neurolgia, especially cervical syndrome, shoulder- arms syndrome, Lumbago, sciatica and herpesizosta."

Although Neurobion is used very widely, one should always guard against excessive use of vitamins and consult a healthcare professional.

In addition to taking Neurobion or any other vitamin of your choice, I suggest you listen to soft relaxing music, spend some time alone flipping through any magazine and, if you know how to meditate, there is nothing like TM. I have already touched on this type or meditation in my earlier answers because you can do it anywhere, anytime, commuting to or back from work or during lunch breaks. But, make sure you do it before eating anything. You can also meditate at least one hour after meals.

I read somewhere that Calcium and Magnesium are good for combatting the symptoms of stress....

I get this problem too (mainly about work) and I find that taking 10 mins each day to lock myself away, take deep breaths and meditate helps..

Good luck

My chiropractor prescribed me huge doses of vitamin B-12 and B-6. She also gave me something called Drenamin to support my adrenal glands. It's helped alot. I also get acupuncture every couple weeks. It really helps. Also, try yoga. It helps me calm down before I go to sleep.

From what you describe, I have a pretty good idea that what you are suffering from is Schizophrenia and possibly Bipolar II.
You need to see a psychiatrist immediatly. Ask him to put you on Respiridone and Lithium.

You may need to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital as your writing seems to be a little bit erratic. ECT might be able to help you with that.

Once you are properly diagnosed you need to inform the motor vehicle branch and let them know that you are potentialy a dangerous driver because of a mental illness.

Trust me... I have been doing this for 25 years. I know schizophrenia when I see schizophrenia and I am sorry to say.... you have it!
