My 4 year old princess came home with the flu and was out of it for three whole days, the minute she got better, I got sick! I have had chills, sweats, and shakes with a temperature that just started going down. I have been ill for 4 days now, and have now contracted a sinus infection. Can anyone give me some homeopathic remedies for this as I am in AGONY right now. I have been doing the steam inhalation and the warm compresses on my face but to no avail!

And I have seen a doctor already, I should have mentioned that...And he told me I cannot take anyhting but tylenol. That is the reason I am asking for the homeopathic remedies.

Hi I am sure you are feeling just terrible, but my very first thought was that you should contact your doctor and not depend on some one you don't know telling you what you should do. My grandmother always had many cures for many thing from when she was a young girl, but her best advice was to check first with my doctor before I tried any thing she had to offer.

I would think that what you have been trying with the steam and warm compresses is not harmful to you or your unborn child, but again I strongly would tell you that you need to pick up the phone and call you doc or go to your nearest emergency room. Your symptoms have been going on for much too long a period without calling your doctor for your sake and again you baby's.

Because you are with baby, I will say this only once! See a doctor! They can bill you and worry about the money later.Baby comes 1st, especially in it's early development! Don't risk it if you are worried about costs. Go to the county hospital and they will fix you up.

try little noses, it is a saline nose spray for babies and children. no chemicals to harm you or baby. lots of orange juice for energy, warm baths for the fever and vicks vapor rub everywhere! if you have a sinus infection you should be on antibiotics so talk to your doctor. he/she will be able to tell you other ways to cope without drugging yourself. you are the momma and it is too easy to overlook your own needs so make sure to mother yourself for a little while!

Start taking some garlic supplements. I would start out taking 2000mg per day. They seem to knock the flu virus out of me and my kids every time they bring it home from school. It also won't harm the baby.

Have you used mint teas in your steam inhalation?

Also, giving yourself a gentle massage using your index fingers at the sinuses and massaging gently downward toward the eye helps.

You can take Tylenol while pregnant. just not aspirin.
