f {n+1} = r * f {n} so r = 1/2 in this case
SUM f(x) x=0 to x=n is 1 + 1/2 + ..... + 1/2^n = 2-1/2^n
Sum x=0 to x=9; 2-1/2^9 = 1.9980
Sum x=0 to x=11; 2-1/2^11 = 1.9995

Is this a joke or should it be under mathematics
