ok here is the deal. my tv was working fine, and i always turn the main power off at night so that it can rest. now one fine morning i turn it on and the color is all messed up. there is a color circle in the center with either green or magenta, and the around it will be blue or green respectively. i donno what is wrong with it. but can anyone help me or tell me what is wrong? plssssssssssssss

Well, you had a PARTIAL demagnetizing occur when you turned it on.....As long as the demagnetizer hasn't failed, when you turn it on the next morning it should return to normal.

If it doesn't, you may have bad solder connections on the demagnetizer and that would require a tech to look at it....
Parts would be pretty cheap, maybe $20....

I had this problem once and it was the colour canon (I think it's called that), that distributes the colours. It cost me about £ 200 to have it repaired (a Sony TV), but it was well worth it as a new similar TV would have cost me much more. Get a repair man to have a look at it.

The TV has an automatic degauss (demagnetize) circuit that has failed. Chances are, the degauss thermistor (the device that determines when and how long it does the degaussing) has loosened. It will probably need to be resoldered or replaced. It shouldn't cost too much... $40.00 to $80.00 depending on who does it.

Well, unless you can have someone deguazze it for you its toast. A repairman should have the means to do it.
