How can I ask a girl to the movies?

There's a girl at school I like, and I want to ask her to the movies without sounding desparate. Anybody have any suggestions?

Ask her if she would like to hangout some time, and see a movie or something. If oyu want to have some other friends with you that would work, too, like a group date. If you dont know her extremely well (as in friends) you may want to go as a group, I for one know i wouldnt just want to go see a movie with a guy i just met.. -unless i had talked to him, or hungout with him a few times before, i would only go with a big group of friends.-

Does she like you or at the time are you guys just friends? If she's just a friend or you don't even know her then just casually as if she wants to go see a movie sometime. The worst she can do is say no. Then it would just be her loss right! Just ask casually don't run up to her panting and frantically ask her if she'll go with you. Well I am a girl and the way boys usually ask me is by saying, "Hey, so what do you have planned this week? I say, Oh on tuesday i am doing dadada. He says," Oh well than on Friday do u want to join me and some friends? We are going to a movie. I say," Sure that would be totally awesome.

Go up to her and talk to her, then throw it in there during the conversation. Don't sound all uneasy or nervous about it either. Be confident and hope for the best, I mean the worst she can say is "No" and if thats the case then move on.

Start off by talking about a particular movie you'd like to see and hopefully she'll say she wants to see it too. At that point you can ask her if she wants to go with you. If she doesn't bite, simply ask her to go to a movie with you. All she can say is, no.

so with out much info, here's my idea.
just act like your bored one day and say something like, " my calendar is free for thursday, would u like to go to the movies with me?" it's that simple. or be like " your doing anything friday night? im going to the movies and wouldnt mind the company of a beaitiful lady" then smile gently not too big. and if she smiles back (only if she smiles back) wink at her. then u got her.

aw thats really sweet but you dont need to be shy! girls dont really like that. i think you should just make a conversation wiht her for a while and then eventually lead into going to the movies. and be really sweet also. thats the best thing to do. Good LUCK!!!
