Then it's been an absolutely beautiful journey.

I LOVE that movie. As if it isn't funny enough to floor me sometimes, it's got that line, too. You know the one:) Life was hellish for the better part of my first 29 years but there were moments, periods even, of great beauty and humanity that more than made up for those years. Now, still healing, just three years later, I have the opportunity to live my life anew- not under the constant anxiety that I will be let down, abandoned, despised, etc.- or, at the very least, I recognize that I do. Everyone's tomorrow, really, is an opportunity to live again and I am, as ever, swathed in wonder.

Oh, and:

"I might be the only person on the face of the earth that knows you're the greatest woman on earth. I might be the only one who appreciates how amazing you are in every single thing that you do, and how you are with Spencer, "Spence," and in every single thought that you have, and how you say what you mean, and how you almost always mean something that's all about being straight and good. I think most people miss that about you, and I watch them, wondering how they can watch you bring their food, and clear their tables and never get that they just met the greatest woman alive. And the fact that I get it makes me feel good, about me."

I know this woman. That helps:)

But, that's just me, and I'm a starving student that procrastinating and using this yahoo answers instead of studying.

mankind with all is knowledge and scientific knowhow is no closer to solving the problems that plague mankind, hunger, war, pejudice, hate, disease, famine etc. then he was thousands of years ago.Indeed, if anything he is closer to destroying himself, mutual assured nuclear destruction. engineered viruses, abortion, euthanasia. drug resistant bacteria and the list goes on. Science has not proven a boon for mankind in the hands of wise men, but a method for destruction in the hands of madmen. yet there are those who consistently sing of its praises and the road to utopia it is carrying us on. we have one foot on a banana peel and the other on a cliff edge. Yet we still place our faith in the abilities of man to solve our problems. We are not the solution ,we are the problem. we are not only destroying ourself's but the very planet we need to exist. science has provided no answer and indeed cannot, for even if we were able to build a ship to the stars and other habitable planets, we would only carry our problems along with us(our basic human nature),What we need is a quantum shift in the human nature and science could be a tool for the betterment of mankind, not destruction. ladies and gentlemen i surmise this quantum shift has already been offered to us, but we going about blindly in our own quest to prove ourselfs capable, ignoring centuries of evidence to the contrary plod on sinking ever deeper into the quagmire we call progress. this quantum shift is JESUS CHRIST. He came to change the human individual. "quantum shift" If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things have passed away, behold all things are new.He is referring to the human nature.you are literally born again. That is what will save humanity, not science, nor politics. In answer to your question, no this is not as good as it gets, it gets worser if we do not turn from our pride and conceit and look to the maker of the universe for the answers on how to run it correctly. after all he did give us dominion over it till we went our own way or astray if you will..(in adam all sinned).
