Everyone is different. I have two cousing who got married when they were 20 and 21 and i'm getting married this year at age 34. I think it depends on the people.

when I was young I thought my world was going to come to an end if I wasn't married by the time I was 25. 25 came and went without marriage. I'm 33 now and get married 1 month before my 34th birthday. The only reason I wish I would have gotten married earlier is because my fiance's family is in poor health and I would like to have a golden wedding anniversary (the fear is that his health will be very poor as well). There is a lot of my life that I can't imagine I would have been able to enjoy between 25 and 33 if I had gotten married younger. I wouldn't change anything.

I am 24 now and my b/f of 2 years and I talk about getting married I'n just waiting for him to ask. We'll probably get married fall of next year so i'll be 25 and for me that is a good age. Anything 18 and older is a suitable age to get married. Age doesn't mean a whole lot, but maturity means quite a bit. I have known people who are 18 or so and could tell that they were very ready and mature enough for marriage, and I have also known people who are 40 or older who I don't think will EVER be ready for marriage. When you've found the right girl and you're ready to talk that step and settle down you'll know.

It seems like people are getting married younger, but the age for first marriages has moved back to I think 26. I think after 22/23 is a good age for the young range, but it all depends on the people.

I got married at 22. My husband was also 22.
Anything 18+ is a suitable age to get married. Age doesn't mean much, but maturity means a great deal. I have know 18 yr olds that were very ready and well equipped for marriage, and I know 40 yr olds who I don't think will EVER be ready for marriage.

The age is different for everyone! There is no set age. I'm getting married I'm 22 but my future husband is 27. My grandparents got married when they were 17 and 18. It'll all depends. What do you think. If your ready go for it, if not wait awhile!!! Good luck.

Whenever you feel like you're ready to commit yourself completely to someone else. Age isn't the deciding factor, maturity is. I'm 20 right now, and don't feel like I'll be ready to be married until I'm at least 25 or so. Only you can decide when you're ready to be married.

I'm getting married this summer at which time I'll be 20, my wife will be 19. The way I see it, if you know she's the right girl, why wait, you can't hardly do worse than most people in America today.

So long as both people really understand that marriage is a commitment and the seriousness of it, then it shouldn't matter.
I'm 21, getting married in August.
My fiance is 23.
My aunt waited until she was in her mid thirties to get married...
it varies from person to person.

When you're finished partying and have a career in the works. For some people, that's as young as 21 but I know others over 30 who still aren't there yet! When you're ready to settle down, you'll know.
