i just ripped a disc and to have a back up for my printer, but i don't know what disc type because i put a disk that said hp dvd+r and it said it coundn't write it.

The disc is the same, you have to choose the format to burn.

It should have prompt for the right disc type sometime along the way to burn an ISO file properly.

But usually, if this came from a printer driver disc, the backup ISO probably for CD, need CD-R blank for that.

ISO is an image of a program or directory of files, you will need burning software that will burn the image onto a disc. Any CDR or DVDR Disc will work. Alcohol 120% is excellent burning software.

any Disk but make sure that you burn it using a special program not go to http://www.rarlab.com and download the program and install it and make sure that when you get a list you select ISO. after instaling the program open your ISO file and extract the files, then you can burn the files normaly.

Any blank cd/dvd will burn an .iso you may need a different cd buring program.

go to a store and bey regular disk
