Usually, if you commit a crime that gets you actually sentenced to less than 12 months you go to county. Here, that's how it si anyhow.

Commit any crime or offense that any City Police Dept. would arrest you for..usually within a few hours in the City's jail...or when the shift change is done...you will be escorted from the City's Jail you are in...to the County Jail by either a PD Ofc. or County Ofc.

anything illegal, even if you kill some one, theyll hold you in county untill the trials over, but if you just wanna go for a week or so go for public intox
