My hair is really dry, fizzy, poofy, and frizzy hair. I have these flyaways at the frong of my head. I just want straight hair. I can't do a chemical straightener becuz i already have and it was great at the beginning and really sucked at the end. What is a good striaghtener to get my hair straight and silky?

hi, my mum is Irish and my dad is African and i mean when i say you have never seen hair like mine before i mean it, i got a combination of both hair types, my hair is dry frizzy sticks out and mad mad naturally curly, i have tried everything all sorts of straighteners, ironing my hair, creams, lotions, relaxers, nothing worked, i was only short of buying a wig..until my husband bought me a GHD hair straightener (stands for good hair day) for thick hair and believe me it worked wonders i wouldn't be without it, my hair is now is really straight and silky without no frizz. good luck. x

I used to have frizzy unmanageable hair, well i still do but to get my hair straight and silky i spray Biosilk after i get out of the shower.(you can get it at a salon or at some department stores.)Then you can blowdry your hair(if you want) & then you part your hair in sections and straighten it.i use a straightener called "Wet to Straight" by Remington. It's a good product if you are just starting to straighten your hair.

I don't know if this will help but as soon as you get out of the shower comb your hair IMMEDIATELY! Then put your hair in a ponytail and wait 10 minutes. Blow dry every part of your hair and then straighten it. It really works!

If I were you I would just buy a straightener at a CVS and then add some no-frizz hairspray.
