It means that you need to assemble together with other Christians

I think that the general consesus seems to be that this is a suggestion that Christians do not isolate themselves from other Christians as they could easily end up "starting their own religion" And, in concept I agree totally. Christians need the encouragement of other believers in order to be able to function in a very negative society. However, there are places to do this other than a church. I for one attend church very seldom yet consider myself to be a strong Christian. I used to belong to my local church (we live out in the sticks) but was disturbed by what I felt was a lack of real committment to the purpose of a worship service. All was tradition and things that were read out of a book. (I am not referring to the Bible) The service was always exactly the same, the people all sat in exactly the same pews that they sat in the week before etc. Once I became a born again Christian which occurred in a church a couple hundred miles away while visiting family, I knew I could never go back to the status quo. I do however feel the need to interact with other Christians and I am happy to say that my job allows me to be able to talk with them about my faith and theirs. Praise God. Those people have encouraged me more in just a few months than all the members of my local church did over a period of twenty years. So, if you can't find a good church, then find some good Christian friends. God says wherever three or more gather, I am there. Sorry my answer was so long but I wanted people to know that not all church was good.

it rather is coaching - it rather is one among those command - even a instruction manual is a command in an rather gentle way - yet what it rather is asserting to me isn't you will probable desire to try this - that's asserting do no longer shrink your self off or out of the fellowshipping that occurs in the time of celebrations and worship. all persons might desire to pass into our closets and murmur contained interior the secret place of the main extreme, even besides the certainty that we'd desire to stay balanced and fellowshipping is had to that. too lots fellowshipping and not sufficient inner optimum time on my own in God is out of stability as exact. So we are to forsake no longer the assembling of yourselves - and we are assembled right here and now - everywhere 2 or extra beneficial believers are amassed there he's contained interior the midst human beings. in no way concept i might think of of this manner a pair of talk board like YA being a place for the 'pronounced as out'. yet, during this Q, it rather is. thank you for the Q :)

It meaneth that, in terms of assembling together yourselves, thou shalt not forsaketh it as in the manner of some...

Or in plainer English: Some people just don't know how to congregate like we do!

What is the scripture reference? I would like the whole scripture so I can get the full meaning of the scripture. With what you gave me, I would say that it means to assemble together for worship services, but until I have the whole scripture, I can't say for sure.

If you went to Sunday evening services then you kept that instruction.... it imply means that if You are of The Faith you should gather with those of The Faith for fellowship and to share in learning... to cary it further it means that do not set your self as too good to fellowship with others of The Faith regardless of any other situation.... all are equal in God's eyes... no Christian is better than any other to God while we reside in this mortal world... and those who try to set themseves apart will find themselves the lessor in Heaven.

Jesus led by example. He attended synagogue services, regularly, and went to Temple when he was in Jerusalem.

We can worship alone, but in order to remain on the right track, we should also worship and hear the Gospel, together.

If we walk alone, we can often misinterpret, be unduly influenced by others and walk away from the Truth.

it means, go to church!

its for Christians, not everyone. If you are a Christian, you should be attending a Bible teaching Church on a regular basis.
