I think Vitali would win. Valuve is clumsy and unproven. I dont think he has a good chin either.

If the fight were to happen today I would pick Vitali, hands down. Anyone that thinks that Vitali is not ready to fight right now is sadly mistaken. Sure, he's been out for a while but who do you think has been Wladimir's sparring partner?? Of course they have not come right out and made that statement but there has been several occassions in the past that it has been hinted at. And after the fight on Saturday when Wladimir was being interview by the German commentator, he stated that Austin was much slower than his sparring partner so the fight wasn't much of a problem. As he said that, he looked directly at Vitali and smiled.

Remember that Vitali left the ring because of a knee injury. He has never stopped training and has been working very hard to stay at top physical condition.

If the fight happened today I think Valuev would win as Vitali has not fought in about four years. I do think that Vitali has the better skills but he has been away too long and needs at least 3 fights to shake off the ring rust and be ready for the giant Valuev. His brother Wladimir however is a different story. I think he has the skills and has been active enough to step in and beat him. I would love to see either one or both of the fights happen.

Valuev's size alone will not make it easy for any fighter to defeat him. We'll have to see how Vitali looks once he gets back into the flow of things. But if Vitali gets back in form like he was before he retired, i'd pick him to beat Valuev. Vitali could crack and Valuev hasn't really been tested yet. I could see Vitali having a little trouble with Valuev's size early in the fight but then coming on in the middle rounds and stopping Valuev by the 10th rd.

One way or the other we would find out if Valuve is for real or just a circus side show.

I would bet on Klitscho, if I was a betting man, but Hagler cured me of that long ago with his distruction of Hearns.

Vitali would win this fight. He so much more skilled than the huge "freak show" Valuve.
