Can anyone tell me if this is a breed that is still available? Also, what is the max size these dogs average?

There is NO such thing as a "teacup" Beagle (or any other breed for that matter) and there is NO such thing as a miniature Beagle.
They are NOT breeds and never have been. If anyone advertises such then run and run fast..to sell as such would defiantely mean that the "breeder" is irrsponsible and is only out to sell for $$$$ to any unsuspecting buyer. Terma such as "teacup" are only sales tactics used by the irresponsible..people who don't breed to standard..who don't care about the well being of a breed or of the dogs they produce.

****Sara, you do NOT have a miniature Beagle..what you have is a Beagle that is in the 13" and under breed category..perfectly normal size & weight..*****

Pocket beagles were bred in the 1300's and 1400's and were said to be about 9" at the withers (shoulder). There is no such thing as a modern-day pocket beagle and in fact, the term "pocket beagle" has become synonomous with poor quality puppies bred for the pet market, and often sold to pet shops. Reputable (U.S.) breeders breed according to the Standard defined by the American Kennel Club, which includes two height varieties: not exceeding 13" at the withers, and not exceeding 15". The light bones, high ear sets and toyish heads that tend to go along with very small sized beagles are listed as faults.
In addition to not breeding according to the standard, the majority of "pocket beagle" breeders allow many of the common genetic defects (e.g., hip dysplasia and epilepsy) to be passed along. The result is often an unhealthy dog.

If you still want a small beagle, then consider the option of adopting a fully grown adult from a rescue or the pound. Most beagles are fully grown by about 1-1/2 years, and breeders can usually tell by about 8 months if a beagle will remain under 13".

Do not buy into the the whole "miniture" or "Teacup" trend. It is only a marketing ploy by horrible, unethical breeders to make money off of naive people. It is breeding runts together to make smaller dogs, thus making a dog with more health problems. Go to the AKC website to see the breed standard size of what a beagle should be.

I have a minature beagle and she's about 20 pounds and under 12 inches high. She's a year old and just full of energy. I think that before you consider getting a beagle make sure that you have the time to take them out for walks and exercise regularly or they will tear up your house or apartment. Trust me I learned the hard way. She's better now though. If you have any more questions let me know. Thanks, Sara

These dogs are available, I think their mix is a tea-cup poodle and a beagle and you can look the up on the internet so you can probably order them online. The average size is about a small in dog clothing. Or if your asking about puppy size, it's about a little bit bigger than the inside of a large tea-cup. Thanks.
