What should i do with my hair on crazy hair day?

It's crazy hair day this friday and i need some ideas,quick. Since it's a free dress day, i have already picked out my outfit. i am new to this school and in my old school you didn't have to make your hair look crazy to come in free dress, but i just found out that in this school you do. I don't want to look stupid or anything like that. i want to make my hair look crazy but cool, if possible. I need some ideas quickly please. My hair is past my shoulders, up to the middle of my boobs, very thick and wavy. I need ideas quickly please.

braid your hair - weave in some coloured kanakalon haie as well - do as many braids as you have time for - get mum/aunts/sisters to help
