Are brussel sprouts and cabbage the same thing?

I want to know if they are interchangeable in recipes? do they have the same calorie count etc.

i think brussel sprouts taste differently from cabbage but not so different that it couldnt be interchangeable

Yes they are interchangeable,, as is everything in cooking go for it
