how do i program my jumbo universal remote?

i see alot of other questions having answers saying press the "codes" button my doesn't have any codes button all it has is number 0-9 , buttons saying tv , vcr , and dvd power button mute button menu , go back,pause,play,stop ,foward rewind , ok and record , i just named all the buttons on the control any clue which might be the "codes" button . oh and i think the brand might be living solutions thats what it says on the remote

i threw away the manual after i programmed it the first time , my nephew did something to the remote and i can't really ask him what seeing as he's only a year old and can't talk yet
