I teach 6th grade, and I can tell you for a fact that most of my kids wouldn't be able the questions on that show. And often, once they learn something, they forget them a month later. It's only once they are reminded (as we are in most situations) and refresh their memories that they actually remember. Those 5th graders on that show look like they were hand selected. I teach gifted, and those students are obviously super gifted if you know what I mean. . . long answer short- You don't use it, you lose it!

I am a college junior and I'm convinced that those kids are pre-quizzed. I typically get at least 75% of the questions right but like I said, I'm a college junior. Last week was the first time I had ever seen one of the kids get an answer wrong. They are usually all right all the time. The little girl got a math question wrong but she was only off by 1. Granted they are obviously a very gifted group of kids, but I just have a hard time believing they can remember *all* of those questions like that. And the adults they get as contestants have a very average IQ. Let's have someone decently intelligent on there to have an actual challenge.

While we still enjoy the show, it's losing a bit of credibility.

For the main area. I cant have self assurance that the countless contestants dont understand the very effortless products. i like Jeff Foxworthy and that i take exhilaration in seeing the babies and their abundance of enthusiasm. i've got been a contestant on some exhibits and understand that is not comparable to sitting at domicile, yet nevertheless-i wish i may be smarter than a 5th grader.

I thought the show was pretty cool. I thought it was easy. I had forgotten some of them but they say with age goes the mind. One of my sons is in 6th grade, he knew most of the questions. The oldest is in 10th. He thought it was a walk in the park.
