Gas exchange - CO2 in and O2 out.
Photosynthesis - absorbing the solar energy to make food.

Mulch, compost, living art.
Yeah! Art! Glue some of those leaves onto a piece of contruction paper! Its like kindergarten all over again.
Some leaves are edible, but...I wouldn't suggest that.Atleast, not without knowing what you're doing

You can use them to make modern art.. seroiusly!! once i used all of my leaves and i shaped them on the groud to look like a rabbit.. but don't count it to last very long.. it'll probablly wash away or be blown away by wind or rain!! still it's fun while it lasts.
