I'm a dentist.
Obviously, I since I cannot examine you I cannot determine what is going on.
What you are describing, however, could potentially be an infection that is spreading beyond the region of your mouth and towards your neck. This is very serious business. Although at this point you may be experiencing merely swelling an discomfort, such infections (if that is your condition) can spread very rapidly, causing constriction of your airway and perhaps even sepsis.
I'd recommend that you go to your local emergency room, especially if you're experiencing difficulty breathing or swallowing.

Im with everyone answering so far. You need to get help. There is a credit card for healthcare and if you can get approved that may help you. check out www.carecredit.com. If you can find a good dentist they should let you pay half at one visit then half at a second visit. Chances are you will need two visits one to get some medication and a diagnosis and one about a week later for treatment. Look for a good looking office with a good apperance. Chances are if they are legit they will be likely to want to help you out. But please go soon. It can get real serious just like any other infection can.

Use salt water to rinse your mouth out with you can also use peroxide to rinse with too but do not leave the peroxide in your mouth too long and use only a little bit it foams up a lot. You have an infection. This might help for a while but you might have to go to a dentist he will let you make payments. A good dentist will go the best and cheapest route for you.

a dental school might do it cheaper or pull it for free. It sounds like you may have an infection now, you will probably have to pay for any anti biotics they will prescribe, but that will be a lot cheaper than a dental surgeon.
