We met 10 years ago while we were studying English in London. We've been friends since then. This year we took a vacation together and everything changed. We're in love but he's in Switzerland and I'm in Argentina.

I'm in one now, and yes I'm very much in love...

We were dating for about 1 1/2 years, and I moved away 3 hours for college... and now, I'm in my 4th year, getting ready to graduate and move back home to him. We're engaged now, btw... and marrying sometime in 2008.

I am currently in a long distance relationship about an hour away. We go to different schools and its hard to maintain. We talk almost everyday and see each other every week. I am in love with this guy and when we were talking one day about how the two diff schools suck he said that distance makes the relationship stronger. Although I over analyze everything and doubt some stuff it is working out fine. Its going to be 6 months the 17th of March. ^_^

Fell in love with a guy 200 miles away that I met over the internet. He visited from time to time. After three years of dating (during which I moved to a college only an hour away) he asked me to marry him. I moved to his college and we're getting married on June 23 and I couldn't be happier.

Im in a long distance relationship and yeah we're in love.
My boyfriend is very understanding and very positive pretty much about everything. We always communicate and talk our problems out. When we have time to see eachother he come out here and see me. And we love being ourselve around eachother. And we dont listen to anybody else have to say about us. We believe in eachother and trust is a big thing in a relationship.

I have had one when I lived in Newcastle and my boyfriend was in London. We were in love and stayed together for 7 months but after that I couldn't take the jealousy. He got obsessed with my phone whenever he comes to see me or I go to see him. Then love just started fading as there would be times when I needed him there but he was just too far from me. so it didn't work out. sorry.

i had a long-distance. and many of my friends did and i never saw it working out. everyone seem to end up with a break up. thats why i dont believe in long-distance. if its more than 6 months, it is likely to finish, even if you`ve been together for a few years before that. i am still looking for a proof that long-distance can work.

My wife and I did for about a year and 1/2. After her last visit before we married, we decided we either would get married or quit dating. It's workable, but difficult. good luck.
