I can't imagine why God would care if I choose to have relations with another man behind closed doors. If we love and respect each other everything should be good. So I lay down with my partner, does it really matter. After all people do sodomy on their wives and no one seems to care about that?

Yea, but that was not God's intended purpose for men and men and women and women to be together. His purpose was to have a man and a woman because they help multiply the earth. Two same-sex partners can not.

The Bible, in Genesis, in chapters one and two, provides God's blueprint for marriage and for His good gift of sex. The gift is only to be enjoyed within a marriage between a man and a woman. There are no exceptions suggested, such as homosexual partnerships. From Genesis on, the Bible praises the marriage of a man and a woman, but it speaks only negatively of homosexual behavior whenever it is mentioned.

The Old Testament states, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" (Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13). The New Testament agrees, listing "homosexual offenders" among a list of people who "will not inherit the kingdom of God" unless they are cleansed through Christ (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Other passages are Genesis, chapter 19; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Timothy 1:8-11; Jude, verse 7. However, it is important to note that the Bible speaks only of homosexual behavior (which would include lust—choosing to fantasize about behavior), not unchosen feelings. God will not judge a Christian guilty for his or her involuntary feelings.

Sometimes it is said that the Bible does not record any words of Jesus about homosexuality, and therefore it must be acceptable to God. However, the Bible does not record sayings of Jesus about a number of other specific sins either. When people asked Jesus about marriage, He told them to remember what Genesis said about God's plan for marriage (Matthew 19:1-12). So, in this sense, Jesus did have something to say about homosexual partnerships. If people had asked Him, He would have told them to remember what God said about marriage in Genesis. God only blessed sex within the committed marriage relationship of a man and a woman.

Some have tried to reinterpret what the Bible says, in an effort to approve homosexual relationships. For a reply to such efforts, read "Straight and Narrow" by Thomas Schmidt or "A Strong Delusion" by Joe Dallas. God is holy and loving. Sinning against God has consequences. But Jesus, being God in flesh, offers to cleanse you from all sins. Homosexuality is a sin, just like lying, cheating, murdering. How do you feel when you lie with another man? Do you feel clean? God cares and he does not want you to sin against him. Sex is a gift from God, and is between a husband and a wife after marriage. No one may care, but God remembers everything. God did not make Adam and Steve at the beginning, but made Adam and Eve for a male and a female to have sexual union.
Male-male sex is against nature and against the laws of God. You reap what you sow. Jesus is loving, he cares for you and wants you to turn towards him. He is patient with you and me and he wants you to have a great life.

behind closed doors, God is still everywhere and sees what you do and think. God loves you. Turn to Jesus. Be baptised in Jesus name and you can have the assurance of heaven, joy , love and righteousness. Living in Jesus is the best thing on earth, this I can testify. It is better than great riches.

God bless you richly.

Is your thinking aligned with God's thinking? Do you know his thoughts? Read the Bible.

Absolutely not. Gods don't exist, and homosexuality is morally neutral.
