You're disgusted by pancakes because some elements in pancakes make you sick or harmful to you.
They are very pleasant for most people.

Because contrary to popular belief, pancake mix is made from intergalactic dead alien feces. IHOP doesn't stand for "International House of Pancakes". It stands for "Iced Heads of Puppies".
Syrup isn't made from sap, it's made from permanently liquified celebrity hair. Britney Spears ate too many pancakes and it drove her crazy and forced her to shave her head. The hair salon people also eat too many pancakes.

I understand that you dislike pancakes, we have different preferences when it comes to food, but I don't see any reason at all why you would find it disgusting.
