Her email address is easily available to the public, so it wouldn't look like I'm stalking her (I'm not), but would she be freaked out by an email from me after we split up 10 years ago?

no! unless you stalked her then!!! i mean that is actually how my fiance and i hooked back up after 6 yrs! he called me out of the blue. it was great to see how he had changed. and the change was so good that we are getting married now! just be friendly and casual and say something like "hi, i ran across your e-mail address and got to thinking about you . i just wanted to see how you are doing! or something similar!good luck

I guess it would kinda depend on why you wanted to email her. If it was a catch-up email then that would be fair-do's but if you were thinking about hooking up with her again then that might seem a little off. Guess it depends on how you broke up really.

It depends on what you say to her. If you are just saying hey, then it is OK, but if you are trying to hook back up with her after that long then it very well could be seen as stalker like!

It totaly depends on what you are going to say to her. If you are trying to become her friend again then just drop it. she might think you just want her back. If you do want her back then I guess you should e-mail her and catch up but chances are she has probably moved on

NO! She might just be wondering the same thing about you. So go ahead e-mail her and wait for a reply if you don't get one give up on it.

Depends on the circumstances of your breakup 10 years ago.

If you were a right pillock and left her heartbroken and sad... and she's now successful and happy....... well.... who knows.

There is no harm in sending an email to an ex girfriend. Just don't do it if you are married....
