I've noticed when I apply oil on my hair and its still straight from thed ay before, it stays that way and soesnt curl. Why is this the case with oil and not water?

because oil wraps your hair and water is absorbed by the strands much quicker oil coats the hair and absorbs very slowly because oil particles are much bigger and harder to break down....

Oil gives your hair food water takes it out.

oil doesn't have the same drying effect as water does.

oil and water r different. that is why we put oil for maintenance and water for cleaning.

idk. But water evaperates and leaves your hair realy frizzy.
