Windows is written in a totally different language code. I think their .Net framework is based on the C# language but im not sure. Mac has a different language than most of the world uses so it is immune to viruses created in the C++ language(which is all of them). Because Windows is based on the common language it makes it possible to play the latest games, software and browsers. Mac on the other hand is only user friendly and you cannot do much with.

Now if you buy a Mac you can run Windows XP as a parallel or boot camp software. Mac's are much safer on the net than PC's with MS OS. Mac has always had drag and drop, new to Vista.....

domicile windows: pay too lots for a crappy OS that any one knows is crappy, yet which runs the main utility. Mac: pay much extra for a crappy OS that any one tries to pretend isn't crappy because of the fact they do no longer desire to confess that they have got been given suckered, and which won't be able to do particularly as much as domicile windows. Linux: pay no longer something for an OS that has precisely an identical compatibility themes as Macs, yet that any one wrongly thinks you will possibly be able to desire to do quite some super-hacking to apply.

They are totally different, Windows is completely proprietary and Mac OS X is based on BSD UNIX which is very solid and old.

From my personal experience using both daily, the difference is Windows crashes and dies eventually, Mac just works. I have had NO problems with Mac, with Windows computers they all eventually seem to "die" on me.
