I have 2 little brothers, a little sister, another on the way, and my mom baby sits. If the kids screams or something he might be just going through that stage. If he does it too much, there might be something wrong with the way he's being taught. Kids are annoying. I can't even sleep past 8. It'll stop soon enough, or you'll get used to it. Just put on really loud music. lol

Well, they are kids so it may be rude to just go up to the neighbor and tell them to lower the kids' voices down. However, it may work, but I highly suggest you not to do such. Instead of stopping them from screaming, stop the screaming from getting to you. There are sound-proof windows, walls, etc that you can get. If you are not the type of person to spend money on such then just try to close the windows, doors, etc, and turn on a bit of music to muffle the sounds they make.

Well, it depends on whether or not you're in a single family home or an apartment. If you're in a single family home and the child is vocal outside, wander over and let the parents know that this is your 'down time' and that you appreciate the child's age and their need to vocalize, but it's your time to relax, can they consider taking the child out at a different time, or maybe for a stroll down the block. Hard to answer because we don't know your neighborhood situation. Of course, positive attracts positive (say something negative about the child, mother bear will be your worst enemy and you've lost:)

If you're in an apartment and you hear the child through your walls, let the parents know, once again, when your 'down time' is and ask her to take the child into a room most distant than your 'down time' room.

You need your quiet place, the child needs a vocal place...the parents don't know your lifestyle and needs, let them know, I bet they will take your needs into consideration, too.

Peace and, hopefully, quiet for you.

Duct Tape...

no seriously, talk to the parents first and if this doesn't resolve the situation call local law enforcement to issue a warning for any noise ordinances or nuisance laws that may apply. I know this works well with loud stereos or barking dogs but I havent heard of many folks having to go that far over kids. then if all else fails, Duct Tape... lol . Wishing you the best of luck

In response you could tell her that a lot of kids go through "terrible twos" but it doesn't mean the neighbors have to be subjected to it.

If you live in an apartment complex, you can always report them to the management office. But, that wouldn't be nice considering that your complaint would be about a baby. Although the crying and screaming may be annoying, that's what babies do. It's not called terrible twos for nothing and, no matter how many complaints you make, babies will continue to cry. Please be tolerant -- it's a difficult time for the mother as well.

I have three answers:
1) Make a Deal with him: Tell him that if he shuts up, you'll give him Candy
2) Get a squirt gun and spray him.
3) Buy some darn good ear plugs.

that's a hard one. I would just plug my ears the next time he screams and kinda just dat u don't like it when he screams. Good luck!

You can't. If the parent won't do anything to stop him then there is nothing that can be done.

I hate when parents make that excuse. My son tried a couple times to throw tantrums and I wouldn't go for it at all.

Send an angry dog into their yard where the kids are playing or just throw candy at them, so they will put it in their mouths. That will keep them quiet for a little bit.
