any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.

Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

When you feel this way, ask yourself is there anything specific making your life terrible? If so, consult that. In addition, to keep yourself going, set yourself a goal. Life is a gift, so use it. What do you want to do? Help others in your situation? If you survive this, you could help thousands, by helping them find a way to survive and to help others understand them. If other's therapy doesn't work for you, look inside yourself. What is wrong? What do you want? Is it compainionship and the proof of belonging? Or power? Whatever it is, address the situation. And however bad your life is, you can always be optimistic. If you always see the glass as half-full, soon the glass will be full. All the way. (And by the way - try not to drink too much. Do something else.) In addition, look for a sanctuary. Many people choose religion, but others look for a haven in friends and family. People care for you, and I worry about even strangers like you, because everyone has potential and the chance to change the world. You can do a lot, so take advantage of that, and remember, there is always good in life, and you will have a place in someone's heart always. Even I will remember you, and I will always hope that things turned out well for you. Good luck. ^_^

You should visit with your physician about how you still feel. I also think that you should make a point to get some physical exercise each day. Think of exercising as a prescription...you HAVE to do it. It will most likely help you feel better both mentally and physically. Even if you get out and walk around the block a time or two in the beginning. You don't need a membership at a club to exercise. Push ups, jumping jacks etc can be done at home! I think this will help some and it certainly wont hurt! Life is precious.

You think you have problems, have you got about two years, looking at the ages of your children, you seem young compared to me. How does your generation manage to get into difficulties nowadays? there are organisations (council sponsored) springing up all over the place. I will say this, LIFE is a wonderful thing, get up one morning and get out and about. Study the flora and fauna you'll definitely feel better.Take it from me DRINK won't help you at all, life certainly looks rosier through the bottom of a glass. Then unfortunately the cold reality of day comes, and you find yourself in the same s*** again. Are you sure it is MD and not alcohol related, as I see you drink yourself to sleep, and yes it is hard to function the following morning are you confusing this with depression.I certainly don't know of anyone hating another person with a mental health issue, alcohol related yes
Remember one drink is too many and one hundred is not enough.

You need to explain this to your doctor, or go see another one. The medication you take should clear up these symtoms you have. You really need to get a hold of this, or you will end up hurting yourself or someone else. Maybe the meds you take do not react well with eachother. A lot of the time doctors do not check what you are taking.

I would definitely go and talk to someone about this. Feeling this way, even on medication, is not right. Do not let someone push you around because you have this problem.

Tell them what is happening, and demand that you be helped.
If you are not pushy about it, then you will not get what you want.

First of all you should quit alcohol.
Voices in your head, that could mean you are Schizophrenic.
You definitely need help. I don't think ECT would help you.
You need to see a Psychiatrist who will be able to prescribe something for you and you will be able to talk through your problems with.
Also, try to think what caused this and how you could have avoided depression.
You could try to get your mind off this by taking long walks, doing exercise, sports, meditation, yoga, Reiki.
Do you want to get through this? Do you want to get better? Do you always want to feel this way? I'm sure you don't.
Do something, move!

Hopefully you have already asked for help from your GP. They can possibly prescribe something that you can use in conjunction with counselling sessions to sort things out. You are not alone, nor is your situation unusual. Being able to talk things through with someone who is trained can be an enormous help. Get yourself sorted, then you can move on to your love life, you're much more important and only you can make you happy

frist you should think of yourself as a wonderful person.that there is no one better at helping yourself ,than yourself.then look at all the positive things going on with you. then send a prayer up to God for his help. start every day with this prayer. and tell your self :i can do this today". don't let any one else tell you different. look at you children. that is something wonderful you have done, isn't it.. in their eyes you are probably a great love to them. return that love to them. you will see things get better for you. God Bless You.

I know how you feel, I just had a moment of self-hate and harmed myself. Nothing too bad, but it feels like betraying my partner. I am on Prozac and if I wouldn't take it, I would be probably dead by now.
Have you had any counselling?

I might not be an expert but i know what it like to be in depression...i've been in one since 2001 (and i'm only fourteen)

Um my friend, who had the same depression i had got through it...When i feel bad he just tells me to stay positive and think about how sad everyone would be and how much they'd hate me if i killed myself...

if your already on medication for this and you feel it's not working than go to your GP and get them to review your treatment! lozza
