there is nothing wrong with it as many guys can look good with long hair as long as they look after it properly, and anyway where is it written down that men should not have long hair

my husband had long hair for a while, i loved it, he had beautiful hair, like any woman would love to have, he is very masculine and would definately not be mistaken for a girl, he shaved his head a year and a half ago, he is still great looking, but i cannot get used to to short hair. i think if the guy is really masculine he can wear long or short hair, if the guy is petite and somewhat feminine than he may need to cut it to have a more masculine look, maybe thats not his thing ya know....its just like women if you think about it, some girls look really cute with short hair, or even super short. other girls look pretty with long hair, it works the same for men.
My husband actually looks good either way, but he looks super hot with long hair.

Not ALL long hair looks so wrong on guys. Actually, they look good on SOME guys 100%. Say if you're like a punk rocker type with narrow shoulders, thin, and long looks, long hair can possibly work. But if you're big, bulky, and preppy, it would look really retarded. But hey, it is only my opinion.

There are two reasons. 1. It looks wrong because someone could mistaken you for a girl. 2. Mostly only girls have long hair, not guys.

it doesn't always look wrong on guys. it just depends on what they do with it. my brother's long hair looks terrible because all he does is blow dries it sometimes, and it is just really big and frizzy. and he doesn't style it or anything. but when guys with long hair take care of it and do something hott with it, it looks great. but it also depends on how long it is.
