Not often, but sometimes, I just have these random bursts of pressure in spots on my head that make my head jerk to one side, but they're normally gone within seconds. Also, sometimes I get bursts of pressure that don't make my head jerk, but they hurt and leave that one spot on my head feeling like it's on fire. Is anything wrong with me, and should I be worried?

The people who've responded make it sound really bad. They clear up within seconds, so it's no big deal right?

The first kind have only happened like 3 times. It can't be as serious as you're making it sound.

These symptoms are unusual. You should make an appointment with your doctor.

I'm not a doctor but my 1st response will be the logical one. See a doctor! In the mean time, ask yourself certain questions. Do I exercise regularly? When you don't, you get poor circulation and it can cause things such as migraines, poor blood flow to the brain as well as other organs of the body. Are you eating too much sugar? Large amounts of sugar can cause problems as well. Stress, fatigue, lack of exercise, improper diet and so forth, can and will give you physical complications. Again, see a doctor if you can, and good luck!

I'm sorry you have been worried, but they would react that way because this has to do with the brain. It may be prelims. to having a migraine...it also might be prelims. to having a seizure. Your best bet is to go see your doctor and maybe he will suggest you have an EEG.... Electroencephalogram...a brain wave test. It might pick up the irregular bursts of electrical activity in the brain. THere is medication for that too....don't be too worried.

I do not know what it is exactly, but it sounds pretty serious. You should go to a doctor and have it checked out immediately, especially around the head area.
Go to the doctor NOW! This sounds really bad.
