No - it's your choice and no one else's business but yours.

No, I dont think it is at all. Only you know if you should have children. There are a number of good reasons not to. The world is over populated. You may be able to do some very good things for the rest of humanity without the burden of children.

Absolutely not. Do not listen to those people who try and tell you otherwise. Not all people can be great parents, and parenting is a learned skill. You might be a great relative, a great auntie or uncle or cousin, and that would bring incredible light and joy to some child, and that is enough. The decision to not have children is far more responsible than having them simply because most married people do and everyone expects you to. In my humble opinion, people should have kids because they can't imagine a life without them.

Well, it is definitely not a sin, so we can scratch that out right away. Some people will definitely try to tell you that it is, but they are usually just control freaks who cannot stand anyone choosing to live differently than they do. And even when that isn't the case, these people base their assertions on vague Bible verses that can be interpreted in a variety of ways.

Bottom line is, it doesn't matter how you are living your life, there will always be someone out there who thinks you should be doing it differently. It's best to just find something that seems to work for you and go with it.

No, I don't think that it's a sin not to have children. It's someone's choice to do that or not to do that. I do think it's sinful to have a child and not care for him or her as you should. If someone believed they cannot care for a child financially or love them emotionally as they should for whatever reason, then it's very responsible to sit and up and declare to have no children.

There are children walking around in broken homes and there are people wishing they could have a child but for one reason or another they cannot have kids. For someone to want something but not be able to have what they desire, but for someone else to have that one thing and NOT care for it as they should is much sadder than someone saying they don't wish to have kids.

Nope, I don't believe it's a sin, but then I don't believe in "sin", errors in judgment yes, sin no.

Not everyone is cut out to be a parent, the smart ones figure it out before they have children.

Absolutely not. I would not consider getting any woman pregnant, even if I was the last man on Earth.

Religious groups want more members so they want you to have children.

Almost all religions/philosophies require that you procreate. Well, not Buddhism. That is why I become a Buddhist.

in a way, yes. The bible says to multiply and replenish the earth.
You have benefited from prior generations. Your parents and others have contributed to create the environs of the present generation. You do not necessarily have to have children, but you need to do something to contribute to future generations to pay your debt.
