Before shaving wash that area well with warm water and soap to take off dead skin. With a trimmer trim away the hair to the shortest length possible. Apply hair conditioner to the area instead of shaving cream as it is will give a smoother shave. When shaving avoid goin over the same are more than twice. after you have finished apply a lotion and you will have no irritation.

Happy shaving :)

DO NOT EVER use after shave. That will make you burn worse.

DO NOT scratch it. Use a little bit of baby oil and LEAVE IT ALONE.

Next time you shave make sure you are in a warm tub/shower for at least 20 minutes. Exfoliate (use an apricot scrub or something). Then put a little conditioner on THEN add shaving cream.

Use a new razor every time for that area.

Try an Aloe Vera gel or a Tea Tree Oil based lotion. This should calm the itch and hopefully prevent ingrown hairs. I'm sure you dont need telling - but dont do it again! If it really bothers you that much in future, get it waxed or use a hair removal cream.

Lanacane Aneasthetic Cooling Cream ... it forms a protective film over raw inflamed tissue. Its anaesthetic cooling action soothes itching and irritation, stops the urge to scratch and so avoids embarrassment and discomfort. The medicated cream is ideal for insect bites, heat rash and dry ichy skin.

Lol! I know exactly how you feel. I thought it would be a good idea when I was younger and the itching nearly drove me insane. I think youre probably just going to have to be patient and try not to scratch!

I'm guessing you are quite young?? Why would you want to shave yourself "down there"? It will grow back, but will be itchy for a couple of days. My advice would be to put this down to an experience and let it grow back. It is natural for all of us to have pubic hair and you would appear less normal without any!

talcum powder will help. Not much use to you now but the secret is to have a good hot bath before you do it and use a shaving oil like king of shaves kinexium.

Too late to tell you now---never ever shave it; it will be like wearing tweed underwear when it starts to grow back; use something very gentle and unperfumed; like Aloe Vera gel.

Use aloe vera gel. It soothes and is natural and should help the itching.
