everytime I open microsoft word, excel, or powerpoint, it tells me to enter a product. The problem is that I don't know what I did with the product key. Is there anyway I can set up these programs, without the product key? By the way, I have a windows xp. Thanks.

The product key should be listed on the back of the "white" cd case the original office disk that came with your system. This is certainly true even if your brought a system that came with Office already installed.
You can also register however by ringing up Microsoft for free on the help section that should be present with the product key pop up.

However there is no way to by pass the 40 day limit without typing in the product key.
