I know 2 women, already close to age 50,and have never had kids or married and still live with their mother.I just would like to know why? Does it have to do with having a bad experience with your father?

various reasons I suppose. this scenario does not apply to me, but I guess sometimes people just never match up, make poor choices and end up living with their mother.

i have a friend in her late 40's. still lives at home with mom and dad. never married, no kids. in her case, she has never had quite enough money to buy a place of her own and she feels renting is a waste of money. we've talked alot about it. she would like to move but lately her father has not been well so she feels like she should stay and help her mom. she really needs to get out from under and she know's it. things just haven't worked that way. i have faith in her. she's a good person, self imployed and not a mooch. she'll move out when she can.

No, it doesn't .people are very complex and are motivated or not by a whole host of reasons, that is why we should not judge people. They are coming from a place we cannot understand. I wish I could live with my mother I can tell you best days of my life and I was married for twenty years.
