It seems whenever I meet a girl and she finds out I don't make much money, they make tracks. Call me crazy, but the amount of money a guy makes shouldn't have any effect on love. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any girls out there that don't care about the amount of money a guy makes.

Of course I would! The question is, do you have ambition? Let's say you're working at McDonalds (no insult intended to McDonald's employees!) and plan to make a career of it. Perhaps a woman would perceive you as having no ambition to be successful and make more money. Maybe you work at McDonalds but are continuing with your education or another potentially successful venture so you'll make more money in the future. Having no ambition is more of a personality trait to me. If you have a stable job but are dedicated to it even if you don't make a fortune and you meet a girl who turns up her nose to you 'cause you 'don't make enough money' then SHE'S not worth your time. I think you know whether the issue is money or ambition. A woman who genuinely cares for you will not care about the money you earn.

Dude, you can call it whatever you want...I call it "just the way it is."

That is the same as you being asked if you would have a relationship with a girl you didn't find physically attractive. By your logic, how good a girl looks shouldn't have any effect on love, right?

In real life, generally speaking, we guys prefer physcially attractive women and women prefer men of financial means. There are exceptions, but I think you get the idea. If you tried dating women who weren't particularly attractive, they would probably be less inclined to be concerned about how much money you have and your problem is solved!

I'll admit being a women that it depends on the guy. My Ex didn't make much money but that never mattered until he would take his friend's out and never me. As for my current BF he makes a lot of money but he's always thinking of me, and I tell him not to spend his money on me. I'm the kind of women who don't care of the money situation as long as you still be thoughtful in some manner and you'll see that in a lot of women, but there's also a lot of stuck up women who want it all.

I don't think money should be so important. I feel that a guy with little cash and some ambition to do more is better than a lazy guy who is making more money, as long as that ambition doesn't take over his life. Just because you don't make much money now doesn't mean you CAN'T make a good living in the future. If you find someone who is not planning to be around long-term, she might not think that far ahead. It's potential that means more.
I think that ambition to do better would translate well into your relationships too.

Its certainly unfair to say that all women are all about money. I tend to like staying in and renting a movie myself, but I've been with my boyfriend for almost 6 years now. I thought back to our earlier years, and even now, we like to go out and do stuff. I think it is perfectly acceptable for a girl to like to be showed a good time, and taken out to dinner once in a while, but at the same token, there is no reason to be with any girl who is only looking for those dollar signs and not the person you really are. A relationship is fifty fifty (even with it comes to money!). If any chick has the audacity to stick their nose up to your paycheck, tell them to buzz off. Believe me there are TONS of ladies out there who are far from concerned about how much money you make.

my ex didnt make a whole lot of money and that was not the problem. the problem was the crap he spent his money on. he could barley pay his bills but kept buying new high tech gadgets. its not how much money you make just make sure you budget your girl in for some great dates (they dont have to be high dollar dates) but they should be fun. you will find a girl who doesnt care, hopefully one who is willing to even pick up the bill everyonce in a while.

stop going after shallow materialistic girls. However, if you are in a position where you're stuck at minimum wage, then girls might think you have no drive or ambition to better your self or your career. Lack of motivation is a turn off, and that might be the problem. I make more money that my boyfriend, it doesn't bother me, he's motivated and doing things for better his quality of life..as am I.

It shouldnt matter how much money a guy makes, as long as he can support himself. It dont matter to me how much money a guy makes, as long as he can pay his bills, rent (if hes renting an apartment or house) and is able to have food in his house for himself then it shouldnt matter. Good Luck!
