That sent me 18 hate emails full of afterlife threats of eternal damnation, and threats to my life and my family's life. You sound more like the mob than god fearing, human loving people. Is this what your god wants you to do? Is he proud of you?

I am sorry to hear that Millajovichsboyfriend, I did not send you a e-mail that was hateful and would not send you a e-mail that is hateful, this is wrong behavior and Unchristian like.
Not everyone who says that they are a Christian is one.
I apologize to you on their behalf, some people do tend to get lost in their own self righteousness and they will have to answer from their own selves.

Sorry

Peace and Love

That sounds like the book written by an atheist called A Letter To A Christian Nation. He got endless threats from these beautiful beautiful people. I just finished answering a question by a Christian stating that Atheists shouldn't be answering their questions, like they had no such right. I got an answer to a question that involved a man who stated Jesus told him to state his wife was in hell holding a sign with an arrow pointing down telling me which way I was going to go. Pretty sick stuff really.

Oh Lord have mercy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That is TERRIBLE.
If the greatest of these is love than what is the greatest sin and that means not being loving it is sad that I heard that Christians are the only ones who shoot their own wounded.
I am praying for you because I was a victim of legalism and intolerance as a new christian with mental illness and I know how hurtful and spiteful Christians can be. I will pray for you and your family and not all Christians are like this. I apologize that you were hurt and harassed. God bless you and keep you in His care. My husband and I will be praying for you in our prayer time.

Peace be with you and your family John 14:27

I do not understand why so many hate emails are sent out to Atheists. For nearly a year I have said some harsh things to Theists and never received one. I am starting to wonder if people are over exaggerating about this hate mail they are receiving.

Edit:
It is there. I've received emails numerous times. So is my IM.

Report the threats on you and your family to the police.

They can probably find out what IP address the threats were sent from since it should be logged.

Well, isn't that just showing the love of Jesus within them to you? Amazing.
I'm sorry this happened to you.. I'd definitely report them.. death threats are enough to have the authorities come knocking on their doors.

I don't believe it's what God calls us to do. I'm sorry that you are being threatened.

I know it doesn't mean much to you since you don't believe in God, but I believe God will deal with them. I hope that God will change their hearts, for their own sakes as well as for those around them.

Congrats to the Catholics more like it. The more I get to know them, the less I think they have anything to do with Christianity.

If I were you I would take that as a compliment. You probably made them feel insecure about their beliefs and not being able to just live with it they started insulting you.
