We were joking around about her being my bodyguard and how it's just an excuse for her to keep other chics away from me so she can have me to herself.
Well I thought that since she had told me a couple days ago that she was not seeing anyone else, maybe I gave her the wrong impression so I told her that I might take things slow (so is she I think) but I don't have time to juggle;)
I was implying that I am not seeing anyone else either but I don't want to rush her into a relationship if she is not ready (hence the taking things slow).
Well, she read it but hasn't responded yet and I am worried because in the past when she read and didn't respond right away, she was either breaking up with me or thinking about getting back together with me.
I am worried I might have given her the wrong impression. So what did you take what I said to mean? Did i communicate what I wanted to say effectively?

Just say what you mean, and mean what you say...
Try avoiding indirect passive aggressive responses and you'll fair mcuh better with the opposite sex my dear.

Yes, i read the first line and without reading the rest i quickly understood that you wanted to take things easy and let the relationship grow on its own instead of rushing right into it. then i read on and I WAS RIGHT!! :)
However, you should clear things up with her just in case. I am only one girl out of a billion!

I dont know but reading this has got me kinda confused already...
But i think i know what you mean, I guess. Just be straight forward with her and be concise about what you say because girls are very analytical on what and how guys say to them!! Just say to her that like "I like you a lot and I will wait for you until you are ready to be in a relationship."

I think it depends on the girl because what may make much sene to some may be very confusing to others. I think that you may want to tell her exactly what you want her to know. Don't try to beat around the bush or throw hints because even you are confused if your message was effective. Tell her exactly how you feel. Good Luck!

Usually if a guy says he doesn't want to rush into a relationship, girls think he is actually saying let's date others. You need to let her know she is the only one but you are willing to take it at her pace. Good chance she didn't understand you.
