If God were good, then hell wouldn't exist. If God were good, he wouldn't have killed innocent first born babies.

Is this a good example of his love?

"The glory of Israel will fly away like a bird, for your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or never even be conceived. Even if your children do survive to grow up, I will take them from you. It will be a terrible day when I turn away and leave you alone.

"When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." Exodus 21:20-21

"Thus says the Lord: 'I will bring evil upon you out of your own house. I will take your wives (plural) while you live to see it, and will give them to your neighbor. He shall lie with your wives in broad daylight. You have done this deed in secret, but I will bring it about in the presence of all Israel, and with the sun looking down.'"

Then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." Nathan answered David: "The Lord on his part has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. But since you have utterly spurned the Lord by this deed, the child born to you must surely die." (The child dies seven days later.) 2 Samuel 12:11-14 NAB

' So the LORD our God handed King Og and all his people over to us, and we killed them all. We conquered all sixty of his towns, the entire Argob region in his kingdom of Bashan. These were all fortified cities with high walls and barred gates. We also took many unwalled villages at the same time. We completely destroyed the kingdom of Bashan, just as we had destroyed King Sihon of Heshbon. We destroyed all the people in every town we conquered – men, women, and children alike. But we kept all the livestock for ourselves and took plunder from all the towns." (Deuteronomy 3:1-7 NLT)

Sadly, there are too many people willing to accept there is a God. It must have hurt God to see such hatred among us, so he sent his Son to teach us how to live, but still people reject God/Jesus.

I don't agree God is "sad" he gave us the will to do what we please and yes we should be more kind to one another but the world cannot change in one day.

It'd be so easy for him to do so, all he'd have to do is show up and say, "You morons, stop using my name for hate."

His absence seems strangely contrary to your assertion, assuming he actually exists.

Your god doesn't exist so he isn't anything but imaginary and he doesn't want anything.
