WHo knows, But with all the crazy outbreaks of ecoli and salmonilla and what not, I would not risk a disease over some soda. It is probably just expired or something, but better safe than sorry, Right? Drink coke-it is better anyways!

Toss it out, it's only a couple of bucks lost. It is extremely unlikely that an intact bottle of Pepsi is contaminated (they have extremely strict quality control in manufacturing).

You DID check that the seal wasn't broken before you drank it, right? The bottle cap should have a perforated line in the plastic all the way around that you have to break to open.

Take it back, get your money back.

Pepsi or any other soft drink, is mixed from chemicals. There is always a possibility that there is a mistake.

Did you know Coke, Pepsi, and other colas have phosphoric acid in them? Read the little index of contents.

Was the seal intact? I'd take it back to the store for an echange or refund. Don't mess around with things that don't taste quite right.

If you just ate or drank something else really sweet, then it probably dulled your Pepsi senses on your tongue.

there should be a free-call number on the label.
give them a call and let them know. they will be happy for your feedback and send you a shopping voucher for your trouble.

all the big companies do it and everyone should not hesitate to call about anything suss.

take it back to the store... it could be just the flavoured syrup... it won't really hurt you but it's also not that good for you to drink just straight syrup...
