My 4 year-old daughter's pink 2-wheeler would be lighter than that. Silly question. However, http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/news/article/mps/UAN/2066/v/1/sp/ has the Storck Scenario weighing in at under 4 kg!

Well, the lightest bike I know or knew of was a Litespeed road bike which I think weighed less than 10 lbs. It was an all titanium frame and may have had some carbon fiber components, so the bike was in the 4 or 5 digit range ($9,000 or $10,000 range). This was years ago, and I'm not even sure if the company's still in business.

According to Weight Weenies, the world's lightest bike weighs 9.2 pounds. This is achieved through "optimizing" components, meaning they drilled holes in some of the parts to make them lighter. The website does not list the cost of the bike, but based on the components and the cost of customizing the components, this bike would be well over $10,000 dollars.
