I'd use him as a resource to broaden my knowledge of that culture.

Since I am studying Islam and my husband is Muslim, I would be happy for my friend. Even if my situation was different, I would respect my friend's decision. Different people need different things in their life to feel happy and fulfilled. As long as they are not causing themselves harm, I have no place to say they are wrong for their decisions.

No not within my group, they wouldn't even criticize him. Everyone has the right to choose the road they want to walk. Converting is a courageous thing to do and should be respected. @8-)

I can't imagine anyone would really try and kill him, or even 'save' him. Your religion is up to you, what right has anyone to force an opinion upon you?

If, round your way, they'd really try and kill him then they're surely not the christians they purport to be.

Well, I'd say 'okay, good for you', and let him believe whatever he wants to believe. And then try and get the Christians in your place put away for murder.

If my friend were to convert to any religion then I would respect his or her decision.
If a person ridicules another person's beliefs then they are rude and immature.

If a friend converted to Islam, I would treat him accordingly...

As a brother/sister, the way we ALL should treat each other.

'Judge not lest ye be judged.' -'Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary)

May peace be upon you...

First... No Christian would try to kill someone for converting to islam... ever... That is against God's Word

Second...No Christian would ever convert to islam...or to any thing else for that matter.

third... there is one quaran and it is from allah... there is only one islam... the quaran is islam and islam is the quaran... the quaran clearly states that all who refuse to submit to the law of the quaran and islam are to be killed... if you had a friend who converted to islam and claimed to be a Christian they were never a Christian to begin with... and if they are now of islam and islam says to kill all who do not submit to islam... what dose that now make your former friend?

I am an atheist. I find it difficult to understand why people will kill others over beliefs in gods.
