I keep trying to sign up for these on line jobs and, they keep saying it's free.But they want a credit card from me and I don't have one!! So how can I get signed up with somene and start making $????

First of all, as you've discovered, they aren't free. Second, I've yet to meet anyone that actually made any money from them.
The first thing they'll do is tell you that you'll get "better" jobs or have "more" people signing up under you and make "more" money if you buy the upgraded version of some program they're offering.
The reason they're asking you for a credit card is because it's "free" for maybe 30 days and then they'll start charging your credit card.
If it were really possible to sit and home and make lots of money sitting on line all day long on your computer, don't you think everyone would be doing it?
As far as I know, they are all scams but it doesn't seem like you're convinced of that yet. I guess go buy a prepaid credit card and lose your money if you want. You buy a card with a couple hundred dollars on it, which means you use your cash to buy a credit card, then you can use that to sign up for your "free" program.

What are you looking into doing? Many times they need a card to verify who you are.
