As our knowlege increases, and the education system improves, and the electronic age evolves --

And it eventually becomes common knowledge that the Bible god does not exist, and likely the other gods also do no exist --
Can the Christian churchs and other relgious organizations metamorphose into historical societies and social clubs, etc.?

Lol! You're silly! People have always believed in spirits and gods since they first crawled out of the ooze. You made mention of churches becoming "social clubs" isn't that what they are now: a place for people of similar ideals to get together and socialize? The truth is gods are going to be around as long as people are, although some gods may die out, we'll continue creating more and fighting over whose god is better.

Now that's a loaded question. Belief in God/spiritual connection is a personal experience, more intuitive/meditative in nature. It's not a logical "add it up," and it is impossible for science to ever prove or disprove the existence of God (we've barely scratched the surface in explaining the physical world). People can come to a
strong(er) belief in God *after* a period of doubting/ questioning. Logically, what we have is mystery, highly improbable events/connections and personal experience. I would also like to mention that Christianity is not the only religion out there; Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Ba'hai's, Pagans, New Age believers, etc. all believe in "God" = an infinite, all-encompassing Being.

So, while I think examining the Church in historical terms is fascinating (e.g., the early Christian Church, how close does the Church come to living as Christ did?, the distinction between religion and spirituality), the fact that a person hasn't experienced (or been open to it) spiritual connection, will in no way negate another person's experience. From the other person's perspective, you just don't understand, you're not credible until you've "walked the walk."

"And it eventually becomes common knowledge that the Bible god does not exist..."

Doesn't common knowledge require undenial proof? Is there any way to undeniably prove either the nonexistence of God or gods? If the answer is "no," then there can be no such thing as "common knowledge that God does not exist."

But I digress! Many of the "Christian churches" and other religious organizations are social clubs anyway. Organized religion is a drag, man.

Your question assumes a truth you cannot prove. Meanwhile evidence, for those willing to listen, points toward God.

Until you can prove God does not exist (which, since He does exist - and thus is impossible) your question is merely an opinion posed to support your own faith system.

Sadly, too many churches have already bought into the error you're working from and are little more than social clubs.

All the buildings should be converted to something of use to our society, like schools, shelters, soup kitchens, colleges, etc. They have all this space and extra money that they don't do a thing with to benefit anyone but themselves.

As for the people - we can probably expect mass suicides.

It pleased him, (God) by the foolishness of preaching, to save them that believe. By the foolishness of preaching, as the thing preached is foolishness to wordly-wise men. The gospel ever was, and ever will be, foolishness to all in the road to destruction.
The message of Christ, plainly delivered, has been a sure touchstone by which men may learn what road they are travelling.
The despised doctrine of salvation by faith in a
crucified Saviour, God in human nature, who bought the church with his own blood, to save multitudes, and all that believe, from.. ignorance, delusion, and vice, has been hated by those who refuse it. The weak instruments that God uses, are stronger in their effect, than the strongest men can use.
Men hate to consider this, as it insults their pride, admired wisdom, and strength. (1Co 1:26-31)

you are seriously mislead in your thinking.... Some of the greatest scientific minds after years of research have declared that there are some things science can not explain away and the only possible answer would have to be God... Think away if you choose but think of this what if you died right now beliveing in no God only science and found out there was a God....Or if you spent your life believing in God and found out you were right.......heaven or hell think about that..

Shalom... who has been teaching you...? "Mickey Mouse"..?
Even Carl Sagan, on his death bed, came to the realization that God is.... read some of the works of Dr. Stephen Hawkins (Professor, Columbia Univ. England)...then... if you think you can handle it... get a copy of The Book... read the book of John... rent the video... great reading/watching... as science continues to link and bridge itself to the Creator...

that can never be proven if the main world religion is christianity though because there will always be people who insist that EVERYTHING you say is wrong just because it's against their beliefs.

perhaps they will become fewer by the years and what you sa y will be true.
