Cada fin de semana, mi padre y yo oíamos música
*You could also use 'escuchábamos música'. Both verbs mean the same and are in imperfect preterite. Also notice that when you mention different people and yourself, you want to put 'yo' at the end (i.e. Jorge, Pedro y yo... you never say 'yo, jorge y pedro')
