I know this example doesn't have to do with religion BUT, there is a question I have heard many times that should not be asked.

When a woman asks, "Does this make my butt look big?"

Some questions that are better left unsaid...hmmm? Good question. Now back in the early 1900's you never asked a woman's age or weight and also if she was in "love". The age and weight carried on till this era. It's still not polite to ask what a womens age or weight is. Also it use to be that one didn't ask about religion. It wasn't anyone's business but your own. Now a days, asking someone their financial status is a "no,no" unless this person is already famous for being what he is. Sometimes if someone has a personal feeling about someone you know, it's better left unsaid, in case there are bad feelings against this person or maybe this person might be in love with the same person. Also some people that have been in prison don't like to be asked certain things because it's personal. It all depends on the situation and the person. Use your insight. If you think the question is too personal then don't ask and leave it alone.Sometimes it's better not knowing. Have a good day!

Yes, and many questions are best left unanswered even when they are asked. Whenever a question suggests ridicule rather than a search for truth, it should be returned to sender. Then there are questions that boarder on the absurd: can anyone prove that he had a dream?

If I am gay am I going to hell?

or is being a gay a choice?

First off if being gay was a choice I would not be gay cause I would not want to go to hell...anywho that is where my christain parents think i am going.....I can't help it if I go to the strip club filled with girls and nothing happens to me but I see some hot dude and I get all hot.
don't you agree that this topic should have been left alone?

Any question that attempts to undermine or otherwise disrepspect anothers belief is inappropiate and should not be asked because it serves no purpose other than to the questioner himself. Just look at some of the questions and you have your example.
