Silicon drops might help as well.You use it on dump hair after you wash it.But you know of course the best way to get rid of the split ends is to cut your hair.Maybe try a haircut that you can maintain the length of your hair but you can get rid of the damaged hair.

Even thou products claim to - none actually can mend split hair once its split its split.... serum can help the appearance of split hair and stop it looking so fly away but the splits will still be there when you look at each end.

Its best to get a trim - just ask for a very very small amount off just to snip off the splits.... if you dont split ends have a habit of spliting even more and going further up the hair shaft which obviously you dont want!

Joico do a very good conditioner called joico reconstruct. You can buy it online search google... or in some salons. Its worth it as it will help prevent more split ends and it also gives hair really good shine makes it very soft and in better condition.

I have exactly the same problem, i have long hair and split ends but I don't want to cut it...so I started using sunsilk in the pink bottle for split ends...it seems to be pretty good, i've only been using it for a week but it makes my hair smell really good and even though i don't use the conditioner, i don't really get too many tangles.....I see some results on the split ends, not as many as before..i'm going to use the whole bottle before i decide if i wanna switch to something else...hope this helps....

I had split ends but if u go to a Solon they can give u some really good stuff like a treatment and it makes yr hair so smooth,soft and easy to brush through so u wont have to cut yr hair but make sure u get at least a trim so yr hair can be more healthier and then u wont have split ends any more!!!!

Just get a trim to even out your ends and get the split ends cut off it will be like an inch or 2 not much no one will even notice so done worry.. Hope i was of some help to you

You might have to cut it but try some of the serums that claim to repair spilt ends first - I have heard good things about the one from AVON. Also use a good conditioner- leave it in your hair for several minutes before rinsing out. Herbal essences has a great one especially formulated for the ends of your hair. I think it is called tip treatment?

You can't get rid of split ends without cutting your hair, but if you just cut it a little bit there are shampoos and conditioners that help prevent split ends

Unfortunately, the only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them because there is no way to repair them and if you don't cut them they move further up the hair shaft...in other words the longer you wait to cut, the more you will have to cut when you do actually cut it.

You cannot get rid of split ends, except to cut them off. I wish you could. I have that problem too. But you don't need to have that much cut off, and most people will not notice your hair being any shorter.
