I just need someone to go on there ancestry.com account just to look up some information on my Great Grandfather Fred Sanford the only thing I know is that he was born in 1903 in Georgia and that he died in 1982, Duval County Fl which was his current residence. The only thing I really want to know what who his spouse/wife was it would be really helpful. Thanks

When I first saw "Fred Sanford", I thought hmmmmm,
Is this for real? After all, Fred Sanford is the character played by Red Foxx on "Sanford and Son".

But, I thought, what the heck. And, here's what I found on ancestry.com. If it is your family, and I can assist more, let me know. You can use my "alternate" email box

There was a Fred Sanford who died 25 Feb 1982, Jacksonville, Duvall Co Fla.

The 1930 Census for Pondtown, Dodge Co, Ga. has
Fred, age 25 male/white; can read/write; laborer at a stone mill. He lived on a farm. He was born in Ga, his mother & father born in Ga.

Wife: Bessie, age 23, born Ga.
(It did not give her maiden name)
Son: Leary age 5 1/2 born Ga.
Son: William M age 1 year 2 months born Ga.
Also living with them
Sister: Dealy Dowdy, age 23, widow, born Ga.

Hope this helps.
