In buildings... I'd like to add to those guys above.

Don Bradley with Sunspot Solar specialized in building solar powered homes with little to no additional cost... though the interior finishes suffer from loss of funds.

If you are very interested in solar powered homes, move to California. The Governator is subsidizing 2 million solar powered homes of all price ranges... you get about an $8000 rebate on whatever home you choose.

Yes, and I wish I could give you their website but I don't remember the name of the company. There should be several. They build a complete system batteries, solar panels and emergency generator. They have systems for a complete house, or a weekend cabinet. They also have optional wind generators to go with the whole works.

The down side is these systems, one big enough to run an entire house cost about $20,000.00 and I can pay my electric bill for over 8 years for that amount of money.

The people that are buying these have homes or cabinets in remote area's where commercial power is not available.

Hope you got some money!
Our system is producing 1200 Kwh per month, which is nice.
But.....it cost us over $60,000.00 US!
Bottom Line?
Green is keen but it ain't cheap!
