No, it's just human nature to fight and kill.

Over time when has there been peace?

Yes, it is an interesting way of putting things, isn't it?
That's how it feels sometimes.

I've felt that way many times. It's like this is all some game or entertainment venue or something? A cosmic TV with all kinds of different programs on different channels?
*This week on "World Dictators"...*
*Tune in to "L.A. Gangs Live" on channel California...*
*Sunday Sunday Sunday! Watch the "I-95 Raceway" on Sunday Sunday Sunday! Pile-ups & traffic jams galore Sunday Sunday Sunday!....*
*Watch the Atlantic Hurricanes take on the American Landmasses this week your North Hemisphere Network, NHN...*
*And now the conclusion of "Sally McGee: A Woman's Story"...*

God's Nintendo. I like that. I'm a Nintendo fan anyhow so the analogy resonates with me strongly.

My belief is that while 'God' exists (God meaning an actually unnameable source of all existence simply because everything has a beginning & the rules of this universe didn't magically appear out of nowhere) it has no influence on our lives other than the fact that we were designed by it (hes can't be hes without shes so that's why I referred to 'God' as it).
I don't buy into that reward/punish argument. God is simply neutral and all existence is in my theory nothing more than God, the whole, exploded into fractions of which we are some of those fractions.

But reflecting on our design it seems that it was all just thrown together in there without regard to system conflict & we were left to sort it out.
That's why it feels like this whole life thing is a mindscrew.
After awhile you sort of wonder if this isn't all some galactic game or TV network. Channel Earth on the Solar Network.

I just wonder if we're God's NES or did God update Earth to Wii status?

God is my Loving Father. He treats me extremely well, though I can't figure out why, because I feel myself to be completely undeserving of the least of His kindnesses. He has promised me eternal life, freed me from fear and anxiety, and blessed me with thousands of loving brothers and sisters who I enjoy even in this present fallen world, and expect to enjoy and get to know throughout eternity. And all because I have put my trust in the sacrifice of His Son, the Lamb of God, who died for me on a cross. Go figure!!

No... none of the thousands of gods actually exist; they're all just characters in stories.

And ironically, Nintendo translates to something like "leave luck to heaven".

there is a narrow path that is right in life and is the good and right way with love and truth that rises above evil ..those that see that path and choose it are what God is after ..
